Locked Out

By David from Osceola, Wi, Jan 10, 2007

I was looking for something online for my daughter to generate some extra income with while the kids were at school. In order to see if it was something that I wanted to get her involved in, I paid the registration fee and signed up in my own name. Within days of registering with only about 8 to 10 of the companies on their 'data base' list, (they recommend signing up with as many as you can) the avalanche of 'Junk Mail' arrived in my e-mailbox. Picking and choosing took more time than completing the very few valid surveys. Realizing that this wasn't the help I had intended for my daughter, I attempted to contact them by email to request a refund (which they gladly honor, no Questions asked), I found that I could not register to fill out a 'ticket' because I was continually being denied access because of an incorrect validation code entry. I'm not very happy with Survey Scout at all. They are not members of the BBB so where does one go for help? How is it possible to email them?

You will get some money

By Norma from Ga, Mar 28, 2006

I joined this survey company , two year ago , the fact is that you have to have patience with this survey companies, you will get some money doing this but is not much, just some extra money here in there, do not think this like a full time job, it will give some xtra income , like the focus groups this are good because they pay you like 75 or 150 dollars for session , the bad thing is you cannot do it every week because of their policy . So en general is not bad.

Frustrated and used

By mary ann from MN, Jan 28, 2006

I have done several surveys and not received any cash awards. I also took the risk because of the $25 instant money back with diningdough.com. I only was able to print out one certificate for $10 for my last choice restaurant in my area. I can't get back into the site again and no one answers concerns or requests for assistance. It is very
frustrating and I feel used!

Just took my money

By chris from delta, colorado, Jan 05, 2006

I joined survery scout in November 17, 2005. I have not made ANYTHING! Since they advertised a 45 day unconditional money back guarantee I thought I had nothing to lose. Since I asked for my money back I have gotten no response to the first three requests. On the fourth attempt I was sent an email with an excuse as to why I might not be making any money and two links to guaranteed paid sites. The links did not work and took me no where. One more attempt at getting my money back resulted in nothing at all. Except no my user ID # and password are no longer valid and I can't get to their email to again ask for my money back. I am going to the better business bureau now to see if they can help me. This was hugely dissapointing as I am disabled and can not get a job outside my home.

Disappointed

By Anonymous from Missouri, Nov 24, 2005

I joined this site in hopes of making extra money in addition to my full time job. I spent hours reading emails from all the companies I had signed up with. Most of the survey I took, I never heard from the companies again. Alot of the surveys you had to fill out a questionaire to only be told in the future I was not what they were looking for to take the survey. The ?'s asked were for age, sex, location, single or married, kids, pets, etc. I stuck with it for three months, and earned $3.00 for all the surveys I did. I finally had to go back and un-subscribe from the numerous sites I listed with (which I am still getting solicitating emails from some)that took me several days to complete. I joined because of the long list of companies it had listed. Most gave "points" for the survey and you had to apply for many credit cards, and buy their prod to qualify for the "cash rewards" for the surveys. It was not a "cash up front" deal as led to belive before joining. I thought it to be a scam

Great place to start

By R. Samuelson from California, Oct 14, 2005

I have to say, been thinking about trying this whole survey deal for some time and I joined the site because it has way better information on the business than anywhere else I looked on the web so far.

Company list is huge. I'm starting to sign up with about 20 each day, hoping to work up to doing a few hundred a month in survey income.
